Agnes Ginoba, known as The Hat Lady, is a survivor, educator, and advocate. After escaping a thirty-three-year abusive marriage, she earned her MBA and rebuilt her life. She volunteers with domestic violence survivors and youth financial literacy programs. Her memoir, King Kong & The Hat Lady, testifies to faith, resilience, and freedom.
About the Author
Agnes Ginoba
Agnes Ginoba, known as The Hat Lady, is an experiential educator with over forty years of leadership across private and nonprofit sectors. She serves as a board member for the City of Falls Church Independent Media and as a substitute high school teacher in Virginia. A former mortgage company president, she trained more than 2,000 loan originators and earned recognition as an award-winning instructor.
Founder of Smart Credit for Young Adults, she produced and hosted The Smart Credit Show, teaching financial literacy to youth. Agnes holds an MBA, summa cum laude, and a BA. A mother of three and grandmother of one, she is passionate about public service, community leadership, and wearing fabulous hats.
